I'm Zach Waldman. I lived in Chicago. My first apartment was in Rogers Park. I took improv classes at The Players Workshop of The Second City and performed sketch and stand-up in Wrigleyville.

My last job before going full time was driving a trolley for Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Co. I gave tours of the city to thousands of people. That job taught me more about reading a room than anything else I've ever done.

I've spent a lifetime performing stand-up comedy, magic, and mentalism. I walk into your Chicago corporate event, learn your world, and say the things everyone in the room was already thinking. Corporate. Clean. Unforgettable.

What types of events do you perform at?

Corporate meetings, holiday parties, trade shows, hospitality suites, client appreciation events, and sales conferences. If your company is gathering people in a room, I can make it memorable.

What kind of magic do you specialize in (e.g., close-up, stage, illusion)?

Close-up sleight-of-hand, stage magic, and mentalism. All combined with stand-up comedy. I don't do big box illusions with assistants. Think David Blaine's skill level with a completely different personality.

How long is your typical performance?

It depends on your event. A typical setup is an hour of close-up magic during cocktail hour followed by an hour stage show after dinner. Call me and we'll figure out exactly what your event needs.

Do you perform at Chicago corporate events regularly?

Yes. Chicago is one of my most frequent markets. I've performed at events all over the city, from the Loop to River North to McCormick Place. If you're planning a corporate event in Chicago, call me early. My Chicago dates fill up fast.

What are your rates?

I charge a flat fee based on your event details. No hidden costs. Call me or fill out the proposal form and I'll get back to you within 24 hours.

Do you customize the show for our company?

Always. I learn your company, your industry, and your competition before I walk on stage. Nothing is off the shelf.

Is your show appropriate for all corporate audiences?

Yes. The comedy has edge but stays clean. Everyone's a target. Nobody gets humiliated. The CEO and the sales team will both have a great time.

What do you need from us to make the show work?

Proper staging, good seating arrangement, and a brief conversation beforehand about your company and your audience. I send detailed requirements with every booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 90 days of the event are non-refundable. If I have to cancel for any reason you get a full refund or a replacement performer.

Are you available for events at McCormick Place or Chicago hotel venues?

Yes. I've worked major conference venues and hotel ballrooms throughout Chicago. I know how those rooms work and what they require. Send me your venue details when you reach out.
